柾木在大学好友池内的邀请下去观看舞台剧，并被登台表演的芙蓉所吸引。然而，他逐渐开始怀疑芙蓉与池内之间的关系。于是柾木与一个对芙蓉心怀厌恶的神秘女子小林合作…… 　　影片根据江户川乱步的同名中篇小说改编。

 舞台设定在崇拜水龙守护神的海底王国「海炎国」，这里因神秘污染和“强行唤醒沉睡水龙”的阴谋陷入危机。利姆露一行人原本是来海岛度假，却被卷入这场深海危机，从悠闲摸鱼被迫营业，潜入苍海深处揭开阴谋、阻止海底文明覆灭。
