Raka, a court security officer, and his pregnant wife, Nina, celebrate her success in passing the bar exam. While they have a rare evening of fine dining to savor the moment, their joyous celebration is shattered when Nina is found brutally murdered. The investigation quickly identifies Dika as the prime suspect, leading to his swift arrest. However, with the support of a shrewd and manipulative lawyer, Timo, the trial takes an unexpected turn that Raka could never have anticipated. As the trial spirals towards an unjust outcome, Raka resolves to overturn the corrupt verdict and seek justice for his late wife.

葛饰应为生活在艺术几乎完全由男性主导的江户时代，尽管她是北斋之女，但仍作为屈指可数的女性画师活跃于画坛。她拥有连北斋都称赞“在美人画方面胜我一筹”的绘画天赋，同时性格火爆、刚强、烟不离手，是个豪爽洒脱的女性形象。                                                                      　　《喂，应为》的主人公阿荣是北斋的女儿、得力助手，展现了惊人的绘画天赋。她从父亲那里获得了“葛饰应为”这一画号，这个名字源于北斋常常喊她“喂，饭来！”“喂，笔来！”等日常呼唤，“应”代表回应，“为”则有作为、成就之意，是从师父传给弟子的名号，也是父亲传给女儿的象征。尽管她不会泡茶，也不擅长针线活，却以继承自父亲的绘画才华与胆识，在男性社会中闯出一条路。

　　昭和初期。浅草界隈の左官、大工をまとめ信望を一身に集める鳶政は、今は病身で、後取りの小頭の秀次郎が兵役から帰還してくるのを待っていた。そうした時、東京で博覧会が開かれることになり、会場が上野に決った。上野は鳶政の縄張りだったが、博徒阿久根一家が札束をつんで工事の利権を譲れと言ってきた。これを断った鳶政は阿久津の子分三日仏に殺された。阿久津はその上、市の土木局長高見沢と結託し、鳶政傘下の業者を買収してしまった。そんなやり方に、阿久津の代貸し重吉とその妹文代は心を痛めていた。重吉は秀次郎とは親友だった。やがて秀次郎が帰ってきた。そして入札は無事に鳶政一家に落ち、会場建設の大工事が始った。そんな時、音吉が芸者染次を身請けするため大切な纒を質屋の岩源に渡し、それが阿久津の手に渡るという事件が起った。音吉は責任を感じそれを取り返しに行って殺され、染次も阿久津に身を売る約束で纒を取返したが、音吉の後を追って死んだ。秀次郎たちは阿久津への激しい怒りに駆られたものの、今は工事の方が大切と会場建設に全力を注ぐのだった。しかし阿久津たちはそんな鳶政一家に次々と工事の妨害を仕かけてきた。それをじっと耐えていた秀次郎たちだったが、工事現場に放火された時は勘忍袋の緒を切らした。一方、度重なる阿久津の悪どいやり方に重吉は盃を叩き返し、秀次郎の許に駆けつけた。ちょうど秀次郎は、ひとりで殴り込もうとする鳶政のひとり息子明夫を制し、自分で行こうとしていた。かわりに秀次郎と重吉が阿久津一家に殴り込んだ。二人は思う存分暴れ回り、たちまち修羅場と化したが、その中で重吉が三日仏に殺された。しかし、唐獅子牡丹の刺青を背に暴れる秀次郎に、阿久津も三日仏も倒されていった。

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
